Teatre Nacional de Catalunya - Barcelona

The Teatro Nacional de Catalunya is situated on Barcelona's Plaza de les Arts and was designed in a neoclassical style by the architect Ricardo Bofill. The complex actually integrates two different structures. The main building, in the form of a Greek temple, houses the Sala Gran and the Sala Petita which host the larger productions, while the second building, the Sala Tallers, is both traditional and modern at the same time, and is reserved for more intimate works. The theatre's program includes both classic and contemporary pieces of theatre, as well as occasional concerts and dance performances. The main foyer is an area for artists, and the building also contains a bookshop and a restaurant.

Box Office: Wednesday - Friday: 3pm - 8pm. Saturday: 3pm - 9.30pm. Sunday: 3pm - 6pm. Wednesday - Sunday: 1 hour before the show.
