Tablao de Carmen - Barcelona

Tablao de Carmen was created in 1988 in homage to the great flamenco dancer Carmen Amaya and is situated inside the Poble Espanyol de Montjuïc, one of Barcelona's main parks. It's renowned for its top quality shows featuring celebrated prestige performers. The show lasts 1 hour 15 minutes, featuring dramatic production and several of the fundamental flamenco genres, allowing the audience to discover the rich diversity of the art. The decor is elegant without being excessive, featuring yellow, ochre and red, characteristic of the south, while the lighting consists exclusively of white lanterns, giving the hall a cheerful ambience inspired by a Sevillian fiesta. What's more, the hall is laid out in the style of a small theatre, making the show clearly visible from all tables in the audience.

Open Tuesday - Sunday from 7pm. Shows at 7.45pm and 10pm.
