Santa Trinità Church - Florence

The 11th century church of Santa Trinita rapidly became the chosen place of worship for Florence's wealthy families. For this reason it was refurbished a number of times during the course of the history of Italian Art. Its Renaissance facade is interesting, but it is its interior that holds the real artistic treasures, including frescos by Ghirlandaio, Aretino, Monaco, Lucca della Robia and Passignano to mention just the best known.

Open daily, 7.30am- 12pm and 4pm- 6pm.
