Palazzo Davanzati - Florence

The Palazzo Davanzati is both an architectural model of the 14th century medieval palace, and the museum of a Florentine house. The Museum of The Ancient Florentine Home exhibits the furnishings of a noble residence dating from the 14th to 16th centuries. The trompe-l'œil paintings decorating the famous ""Parrot Room"" (Sala dei Pappagalli), give the illusion of tapestries.
