Palace of Catalan Music - Barcelona

The Palau de la Musica Catalana is considered to be one of the masterpieces of Modernism. It was built by the architect Domènech i Muntaner between 1905 and 1908. This palace is a magnificent illustration of the different elements of Modern art. If you visit the main concert hall, look up at the ceiling where a stained glass sphere is suspended, filling the auditorium with colourful light.


open daily from 10am to 3:30pm, in August, Easter week open from 10am to 6pm. Guided tours in Catalan at 10:30am and 12:30pm, in Spanish at 11:30am, 1:30pm, 2:30pm, 3:30pm and in English at 10am, 11am, midday, 1pm, 2pm and 3pm


guided tour mandatory (30 mins): 9 €, 7 € for groups of over 25, students, senior residents of Barcelona and the unemployed
