Hôtel de la Mère Poulard - Mont-Saint-Michel

The Mère Poulard was a cook who settled at the Mont Saint Michel when the island opened to modern tourism. The good restaurant and the hotel that she managed with her husband, Victor Poulard, quickly became famous. She spent nearly 70 years cooking and her inn became part of the heritage of the Mont-Saint-Michel. The historical house is decorated by more than 3,000 paintings, engravings and photographs.

Things to see: unfortunately, the famous Mère Poulard's omelette is far too expensive yet it is so delicious.
