Hospital of Holy Charity - Seville

The Hospital of Holy Charity, financed by Don Miguel de Manara in 1667, is certainly not lacking in remarkable azulejos, on the façades and in its main patio, but it is best known for its works by great artists such as Valdés Real and Murillo. The theme imposed on them was that of death and charity. The theme is handled with a certain brutality and morbidity by the two painters, but also with great finesse.
