Freyung - Vienna

In the past, the crowd that milled around on the large, irregular Freyung Square was composed of travelers and crooks. The fountains in the centre of the square were built by the German sculptor Ludwig Schwarthalter. On the top, you can see a young girl and Austria, represented by 4 rivers. Today it is one of the biggest and most famous squares in the Old Town of Vienna.
