Convent of Santa Paula - Seville

The Convent of Santa Paula is one of the finest in Andalusia, with its blend of mudejar, Gothic and Renaissance styles. There is a museum of religious art and objects and paintings, including Ribera's ""Birth"" and an ""Immaculate Conception"" by Alonso Cano. Through the windows you can observe the main cloister with its dazzling white arcades resting on marble columns, their lower section covered in typical Sevillian polychrome azulejos dating from 1615. On the façade you will also see a ceramic work by Lucca della Robia.
