Clock Museum - Vienna

The Uhrenmuseum is a clock museum, and brings together one of the biggest collections of its kind in Europe! The museum was founded in 1921 and can be found in an old Viennese building on the foundations of a building dating from the late middle ages. 300 clocks tick in this old palace, and on every hour sharp, the whole museum rings out with all sorts of different sounds! What’s more, the development of clock making, the technique and functioning of a clock and the history of clocks from the 15th century until the present day is all explained.
