City Hall - Vienna


Vienna’s City Hall on Rathausplatz was built by Friedrich von Schmidt, the architect who designed the cathedral in Cologne between 1872 and 1883. It is the most important Gothic style civil building in Vienna. The mayor’s office and the Head of Administration, City Council and parliament, the senate and the city government, the director of the municipality and some of its divisions can be found in the City Hall.
