Church of Santa Maria Blanca - Seville

This church was a synagogue in the 13th century. Its façade is a simple white wall with a single opening in the shape of a Gothic-style porch. The belfry above the entrance, which was built in the 17th century, is not a tower but merely a wall with orifices to house the bells. In 1665, the interior was completely transformed in the Baroque style, which comes as quite a surprise after the austerity of the outside.

Open from Monday to Saturday: from 10am to 11am and from 6.30pm to 8pm. Open on Sunday and holy days: 9.30am to 1.30pm and from 6.30pm to 8pm.
