Christ Lutheran Church - Salzburg

The Christ Lutheran Church was the first Protestant church to be built in Salzburg in 1867. Its exterior is visible from afar, thanks to to its tall steeple and great balustrade, and is decorated in a unique style which blends Gothic, Romanesque and Rennaissance styles. The interior decoration is decidedly austere, in keeping with the idea of churches being simply a house of worship, although there is a particularly beautiful stained glass window. There are often classical music concerts here, and the accoustics lend themselves spectacularly to this!
