Choco-story (The Chocolate Museum) - Bruges

The Maison de Croon was originally built in around 1480 as a tavern, but it was later turned into a pastry shop. Today it houses Choco-story, a museum dedicated to one of Belgium’s main specialities since the colonisation of the Congo: chocolate. The museum’s mission is twofold. Firstly, it aims to retrace the story of the precious bean, from when it is picked to when it is transformed into a drink or confectionary. Secondly, the museum acts as an academy and resource centre, as much for chocolate makers as for amateurs. Be prepared for a mouth-watering visit!
