Casa de Murillo - Seville

Murillo, one of the greatest Sevillian painters to grace Spain's golden age, lived and worked in this house, which contains a number of his works and is now a venue for temporary exhibitions. Murillo was phenomenally successful in the second half of the 17th century. Religious orders and noble families fought tooth and claw to own his works, which still adorn many Sevillian monuments, such as the Charity Hospital or the Museum of Fine Arts.
