Beethoven Eroicahaus - Vienna

In 1803, Ludwig van Beethoven travelled for a second time to Döbling, an area which was surrounded by fields, gardens and vineyards at that time. He composed a large part of his 3rd symphony ‘Eroica’ here. It was this work which cemented his reputation as a music revolutionary, and it surpassed all of his previous compositions in terms of length, boldness and the abundance of ideas!
