Bar Marsella - Barcelona

Open since 1820, this bar was once a favourite of Hemingway, Dali, Picasso and plenty of other famous artists who would come to relax and chat over a drink. For lovers of absinth, you've found your perfect night out, as the famous drink is the bar's speciality! You can also admire the ancient architecture (dusky mirrors, marbles tables and 19th century maps of the city hanging on the walls) as this is claimed to be the oldest bar in Barcelona. The bar's atmosphere is anything but ancient, with a young and international clientele giving the bar a warm and lively vibe.
