Augustiner Braüstubl - Salzburg

The Augustiner Braüstubl is set in an old monastery that has been brewing one of Austria's finest beers since 1621. It is the finest example of a beer cellar in Salzburg! As it is a monastery, the sale of food is banned, but this doesn't mean you have to go hungry! You are actively encouraged to bring your own snacks and picnic supplies to munch on while you enjoy your beer either in the hall itself, or in the beautiful beer garden outside- these can be purchased from the many stalls outside the stubl- but be warned that they can be pricey! Once inside, help yourself to a stone mug, head to the pump and pull your own pint of frothy Salzburg goodness! A must see!
