Archaeological Museum - Florence

This museum was inaugurated in 1870 and is home to Greek, Egyptian and Roman collections. However, it owes its reputation above all to its Etruscan collection. There are some 2000 items including the famous ""Chimera of Arezzo"", a lovely, highly expressive sculpture discovered in 1553.
