A small town on the coast of Var, a few kilometers south of La Ciotat and Marseilles creeks, Bandol has an enviable location on the Mediterranean shores. Bandol takes resort-like summer, and the crowd of summer visitors flock towards the beaches, as in the cove of RĂ©merol. On the other side, the marina Bandol impresses with its size: it is one of the largest in the region. The shuttles link with Bendor Island, not far off, with nothing of a wild island. But the town has a last card making reputation: its heavily undulating countryside bathed in sunlight is indeed conducive to growing grapes, and has a Bandol AOC for its wine of Provence.
