Brazil will host the World Cup 2014 football from 12 June to 13 July, on the occasion of the 20th edition of the World Cup, a competition organized by FIFA and brings together the best national teams.

204 nations from 6 confederations registered for 31 places available for the final tournament. The final phase will take place in the summer of 2014 in Brazil, only candidate country of the continent. This will be the second World Cup held in the country after that of 1950.

The opening ceremony will take place on June 13, 2014, two hours before the opening match in Sao Paulo and the final will take place dan the legendary Maracana stadium in Rio de Janeiro, which also hosted the deciding match of the FIFA World Cup in 1950.

the twelve cities hosting matches are: Fortaleza, Brasilia, Cuiaba, Curitiba, Natal, Recife, Manaus, Porto, Salvador, Rio de Janeiro, Sao Paulo. All stages will be upgraded, new public transport lines will be created for particular foster links between the stadiums and airports.

In half of the chosen host cities brand new stadiums will be built specifically for World Cup, while the stage of the capital Brasilia will be demolished and rebuilt.

Although the 2014 World Cup is still a little far, football fans are already on the starting blocks to win the precious tickets.
