Quirino Theatre - Rome

The Teatro Quirino brings art, theatre and multimedia together to create an exceptional edifice composing of a library, a café, a video library/projection room and of course, an auditorium. Constructed in 1871 under the orders of Prince Maffeo Sciarra, the theatre has been transformed no fewer than five times in 1882, 1898, 1914, 1954 and in 1982 respectively. The Teatro Quirino can seat up to 930 people and attracts some of the biggest and greatest theatre companies. Come and see the works of Shakespeare, indulge in a bit of Pirandello or even watch Grease: The Musical. At this theatre, the emphasis is certainly on artistic diversity!
