Palatine hill - Roma

The Palatine is the hill where it is said that the first settlement of Rome was made by Romulus. It offers an unrestricted view over the Roman Forum. You can walk through the Farnese garden made in the XVIth century after having admired the vestiges of the Antique City such as thermae, houses, fountains and even traces of a prehistoric village.

To see: Cibele's temple, frescos of Livia's house, Augustus's residence, the Flavian palace, the stadium, the house and thermae of Lucius Septimius Severus, Domus Augustana (house of the emperors).
