The unique Bronx beach is often nicknamed the “New York Riviera”. This long stretch of sand was artificially created in the 1930s by Robert Moses. Funded by the New York City Department of Parks and Recreation, you will find a number of activities: no less than 26 multisport pitches, areas for children to play, picnic areas, a large promenade and a several shops. Come with your family and friends: take the subway too, and whilst access to the beach is free, parking is not.
