Museum of Musical Instruments - Florence
The museum's collection includes some 50 musical instruments dating from the 17th to 19th centuries. In particular you will be able to view a Stradivarius made for Grand Duke Ferdinand, as well as two rare instruments made by Bartolomeo Cristofori, the inventor of the piano. One very useful feature: there are computers which play the sounds of the instruments on display to the visitor.
