Musée des plans reliefs - Paris

Established on the top floor of the Invalides, the museum of Relief-maps contains a rich collection of historic scale models of France's fortified towns devised between the 17th and 19th Century to plan the great military campaigns, notably during the reigns of Louis XIV and Napoleon III. A documentary film helps to understand better their creation and use.
