Meeting at Teano - Fiesole

The bronze equestrian sculpture of the meeting at Teano was crafted by Oreste Calzolari in 1906. It commemorates the meeting in Teano between Giuseppe Garibaldi, who unified Italy, and Victor Emmanuel II, King of Piedmont. Garibaldi named Victor Emmanuel II ‘King of Italy’.
