Joan Miro Foundation - Barcelona


The building designed by the Catalan architect Josep Lluis Sert was inaugurated as a museum by Miro himself in 1976. It is home to the Centre for Studies of Contemporary Art. A large proportion of Miro's work is exhibited here, as is his private collection which includes works by Braque, Calder and Tapies.

Opening

From October to June, open Tuesday to Saturday from 10am to 7pm, Thursdays from 10am to 9:30pm, Sunday and public holidays from 10am to 2:30pm / July to September open Tuesday to Saturday from 10am to 8pm, Thursday from 10am to 9:30pm, Sunday and public holidays from 10am to 2:30pm
