Fulton Fish Market - New_York

Fulton Fish Market is the oldest fish market in the United States. Opened in 1822 in a warehouse below Fulton Avenue, it initially welcomed ships that crossed the Atlantic Ocean. From 1850, it served as storage for fish caught in the vicinity of the city and sold to wholesalers and restaurants. Since July 2005, the market is located at Hunts Point, in the Bronx, where it has more modern infrastructures. Come and admire the displays and fresh seafood, every weekday afternoon.
