Forum of Nerva - Rome

The Forum Nerva was the brainchild of the Emperor Domitian, who wanted a forum to connect the area between the Temple of Peace and the Fora of Caesar and Augustus. Due to his death, the completed monument was inaugurated by his successor, Nerva, who gave his own name to it. The Forum of Nerva is also known as the Transitional Forum as it functioned as an access way.
