Cathedral Church of St John The Divine - New_York

Here's a clue: it is one of the biggest gothic cathedrals in the world... St. John the Divine, of course! The building of this huge project started in 1892 and lasted for decades. Outside, you can admire the magnificent sculptures which are spread across the garden, whilst inside, you will be amazed by the beauty of the rosettes and the Mortlake tapestries based on the designs of Raphaël. The Cathedral is known for its socio- cultural events such as jazz concerts and choirs. If you happen to be in New York in October, head to St John the Divine Cathedral to witness the blessing of the animals from the Bronx Zoo who come in all shapes and sizes!
