Capitoline Museums - Rome

The Capitoline Museum is located in two buildings facing each other on both sides of the Capitol Square: the Palazzo dei Conservatori and the Palazzo Nuovo Conservatori. Its collections include marble statues and bronze, paintings, mosaics and inscriptions, all from Rome and its region. In the art gallery, you can also find some works by famous artists, including Van Dyck, Caravaggio, Veronese, Titian, Velazquez and Guercino.

Opening

Open Tuesday - Sunday from 9 am - 8 pm. The tickand office closes at 7 pm. Open on Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve from 9 am - 2 pm. Closed New Year's Day, 1 May and Christmas Day.

Adult : €6.50. Concession : € 4.50. Free for under 18s and over 65s.
