Capitoline Hill - Rome

The Capitoline Hill is one of the seven hills of Rome and today is the centre of the Roman government. During antiquity, it was the site of many important Religious buildings including the Temple of Jupiter, of which some remains can still be seen today. The hill is also an important monument to renaissance art and architecture.
