Birthplace of Théodore Roosevelt - New_York

The Theodore Roosevelt Birthplace National Historic Site was reconstructed in 1920 (the first dating from 1848). Theodore Roosevelt was the 26th president of the United States between 1901 and 1909 and came from a well-off background which is worth knowing if you are deciding whether or not to take a guided tour. You will be shown five rooms decorated exquisitely and adorned with Roosevelt family heirlooms: the whole experience is an eye opener into how the bourgeois classes lived at the end of the 19th Century.
