Battery Park - New_York
Battery Park lies at the southern point of Manhattan, and is spread over more than 8 hectares. Within this pleasant park you will find the terminal for the ferries heading to the Statue of Liberty. You will see memorials such as the Hope Garden which was created in homage to sufferers of AIDS, the New York Korean War Memorial by Marc Adams, and even The Sphere for Plaza Fountain (Fritz Koenig - 1971) which used to be in front of the World Trade Center, and its battered state reflects the violence of the September 11 attacks.
