American Radiator Building or American Standard Building - New_York

The American Standard Building dates back to 1924, and is a remarkable skyscraper which reaches over 100 metres high. Designed by two American architects, Raymond Hood and John Howells - who have a proved taste in art-deco style - you will note the huge side and height of the overall silhouette is enhanced by the use of black brick symbolising coal. You will also discover gothic decorations used to represent fire. Transformed into a hotel, you can visit the impressive marble lobby which is decorated with black mirrors.
