        How to get there?

        • Air: The main airports are Olbia, Cagliari and Alghero. It is well served from Italy but also receive direct flights from France, Ryan Air operates flights lowcost from Paris Beauvais.

        • Ferry: It is possible to embark to Sardinia from Marseille and Toulon, but also of Bonifacio in Corsica. Italy ferries depart from Genoa, Naples and Livorno.

          On site:

          • Car : well maintained road network but narrow, winding roads. An expressway runs north-south on the island.

          • Bus Several companies share the bus network Sarde, thanks to him you can go almost anywhere .

          • Train : An old steam train renovated allows to visit the island, the trenino verde. Classic and regular trains also serve Alghero, Sassari and Cagliari.

            Health
            • Tips : In the summer, take the usual precautions against sunburn and sunstroke, and remember to drink plenty of water

              • Pickpockets: Sardinia has a very low rate crime. Although some areas of Sardinia, especially the Orgosolo region are well known for their tales of vendetta between families, this Sardinian are close enough Corsican. But you should not be involved in such disputes anyway.
